When Apple released OS 10.7 (Lion) they discontinued support for PawerPC application such as MacFORMation.  This incompatibility issue was created by Apple starting with Lion and new OSX versions.

We still support MacFormation all the way up through Snow Leopard...but since Apple changed the code for Lion (and future versions of OSX). We will not be supporting MacFormation for those platforms unless we get tremendous demand for it.  A complete rewrite would not be do-able given the small number of MacFORMation users.

We encourage Mac users to stay on Snow Leopard to use MacFormation....or use PCFormation on a PC instead.

Another option for the new Lion OSX users is to install/configure Parallels on Lion...and install a Windows XP/Vista/7 virtual machine and run PCFormation on the virtual Windows PC running on top of Lion if they have to continue using a Mac.  It works well....here is a link for them to check out ---> <http://www.parallels.com/>http://www.parallels.com/
