List of Program revisons
Listed below are the features that were added to the various versions of pcFORMation™ version 5
*Please note that we are constantly updating internal program functions that are not always visible to the user.

5.3.6 - 5/2008

1. Network Version - Netsetup has been updated to work with Vista.

2. Program will now expire when all the libraries have expired.

3. Network Version - In the Option menu, the "Purchase New License" and "Purchase ERC Forms" are greyed out on client machines.

5.3.5 - 2/2008

1. There is now a link to Digital Signatures, provided by Inscrybe, under the Tools menu

2. There is now a link to a Faxing page, provided by UFAX, under the Tools menu.

3. There is a new on-line pdf Help under the Help menu.

4. The amount of time the program will notify you that it will expire has been set to 15 days.

5.3.4 - 5/2007

1. You can now export data from a filled out for to a .csv file.

2. The option to email using our proprietary .pcf file was removed.

5.3.3 5/2007

1. Withdrawn within 48 hours

5.3.2 - 6/2006

1. You can now select and open more than one template.

2. TABLET Computers: The program has always worked with tablet computers. Now it works with Windows Journal Note Writer, which allows you sign the form on the tablet.

3. You can purchase a new license directly from the program without having to download the program as a demo. The most common reason for this is if you have been using your company’s multiuser program and want to purchase a single user for yourself.

4. You can now set the amount of time that the program will notify you that your program is going to expire.

5. When the program is downloading forms, you can now run another program while you wait.

6. You can now purchase Employee Relocation Council (ERC) Forms Library directly from the program.

7. In the New Forms list you can now change the order of the forms so that the forms you use the most can be at the top of the list.

5.3.1 - 5/2005

5.3.0 - 4/2005

OLD ISSUES - FIXED

1. If you change the default link number and then click Restore Default before applying the change, the link number will return to the default link number rather than going to zero. 

2. The program writes the formpath to the win.ini file when it starts up, to help fix the problem where the program can’t find forms, even if the forms libraries are installed.

3. The last-selected Forms Library will always appear on the top of the list of libraries, until the next check for updates.

4. The color of the x in x-boxes in now changed by the Modify Color dialog under Preferences, if you select X-box Filled in.


NEW FEATURES

1. Added a save as PDF function.  You can now save a form as a PDF to use an attachment for emailing.  Available in both single-user and multi-user versions. NEW! NEW! A MAJOR UPDATE.

2. Users are able to export more than one transaction at one time, a great way to do a back up to a CD etc. NEW! NEW! A MAJOR UPDATE.

3. Updates no longer use InstallShield. NEW! NEW! A MAJOR UPDATE.

4. Notification window whenever forms change.
When the user downloads a forms update, the user’s browser opens and displays a read-me.html file on the web that lists the changes. 

5. Removes all library folders other than the authorized library.

6. (MU) When in the Admin function, you will have the ability to select a user name and see that user’s password, in case a user forgets their password.

7. (MU) A way to change a user’s name (it will also update the transaction/sessions) when a user changes their name (for example from Mary Jones to Mary Smith). If the user has a password, it requires the user’s password. If the user doesn’t have a password, it requires the Admin password.


8.Expansion of many windows for better viewing of the login user list, the forms and forms libraries etc. 9. A master Clause Library feature from within the ADMIN area.  This can be used to copy a   certain user’s clause library to act as the master library that all other user’s can use.10.  A small notification if your email address comes back to us as BAD.Plus lots more!DIALOG BOX AND OTHER WORDING CHANGES 

1. The text of the pre-generated email was changed.

2. Labels and highlighted boxes have been added to the Modify Colors dialog window.

3. The wording on the Serial Number window has been changed to make it clearer that people who have purchased the program on a CD should enter the serial number, and not select New User. 

4. In the Preferences window, the Internet Scheduling button has been renamed to Form/Program Update Setup, and the LAN Settings button has been moved to the Form/Program Update Setup window.



**************************** MULTI-USER ONLY *******************************

Multi-User Admin/Network Changes/Slave Computers

1. Users working from a client/slave machine will not have access to any Admin functions anymore normally found under the Options menu.

2. When the Admin Options window is opened, the program downloads the list of user’s from the Command Center, so that all the machines will have the same list of users. This prevents companies that add user names from different computer’s from uploading an older version of the user list.

3. The Admin can print out a list of user names from the Admin Options window.

4. In the Admin login window, there is only a field for the Admin password and the sentence tells them to enter the ADMIN password. The name selection has been removed.

5. The Change User Password window will only have a field to enter the OLD password only if they had used one! If they did not, they will only see NEW Password so they can add one.

6. The window of users in the login dialog is larger, so you can see more of the list of users. It also tells you the number of users.

7. In the login dialog for multi-user, when you select a user name, and the user doesn’t have a password in the system, the word “Password” and the password field won’t appear.

8. In the Options Menu, the Change Password selection should read Change User Password.
