Mac OS 10+

How do I use the On-Line Forms?

To use the On-Line Forms with Mac OSX you need the following:

1. Safari 5.1 or later; or
1a. Firefox 11.0 or later;
2. Mac OSX version 10.7 or later;
3. Adobe Reader 10.1.3 or later.

You can get updates to Safari and OSX at http://www.apple.com . NOTE that upgrading to OSX version 10.3 from an earlier version of OSX is NOT a free upgrade.

Once you have downloaded Safari you need to set Safari to make sure Safari runs in 32-bit mode. By default Firefox runs in 64-bit mode, this breaks the plug-in.
1. You need to go into Finder>Go Menu>Applications and then find the Safari icon.
2. Hold the Control Key down and then click on the Safari icon. A list of items will appear.
3. Choose "Get Info" from the list.
4. On that little window about half-way down there is a checkbox that says "Open in 32-bit mode".  Check the box and then close out of the windows.
5.  Next copy or drag that icon out to your desktop or power bar so it will be a nice easy shortcut to use.

You can get Firefox http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/. This is a free download.

You can get the latest version of Adobe Reader by going to the On-Line Forms Log-In page and clicking on the Get Acrobat button. This will take you to the Adobe Reader Download page. Make sure you select the correct version of your Mac OS.

Once you have finished the installation of Acrobat Reader, restart your computer.

Once the computer is back up, launch Acrobat Reader from the icon. If a dialog comes up asking if you want to configure Reader to open pdfs in the browser, click Yes.
